Might seem like a silly question but I did some searching and couldn't find anything...
Normally snatch blocks are used for wire winches, can you use a snatch block on a synthetic rope winch? It will feed through, but will it damage the rope at all?
Cheers

Just what I wanted to hear! I have a couple of brand new unused snatch blocks and was looking at buying a winch with rope, but didn't want to buy a winch with rope and find out I couldn't use a snatch block!jet-6 wrote:Yer you sure can use them, but if it has burrs from being used on old steel rope it needs to be repaired to smooth before you use it
Thanks for the reply
