got mud in bead, now leaking. need fix for work tomrow

basicly need the car for work tomorow but the tire is leaking due to some mud in the bead. basicly want to know how do i get the mud out of it to spot it leaking, non of the tires shops are open

break the bead, put a hilift or similar onto your bullbar and put the tyre on the ground with the foot of the hilift right againest the rim (so that the tyre/rim is between the hilift and the ground), and jack the truck up til the bead breaks, clean mud out, water/rag whatever, then remove valve, spray a few seconds of hairspray all around the inside of the tyre (flammable aerosol in the tyre) spray a trail out of the tyre along the side of the tyre, stand back and light the flammable trail and jump on the tyre so it sucks in the flame. If it doesnt work try a little more spray.

break bead,
if your jewish put tire infront of car, drive over the tire next to rim,it will pop the bead..
hose out mud
use compressor to reseat beat.
or the old match and flam gas trick.

no a tube will pinch at low pressures.

Do as Bogged sugested ,If you have a problem breaking the bead use a piece of timber sleeper ,place the tire laying down in front of the drivers side front wheel(this way you can look out the window while your doing it) with the timber as a ramp up to the edge of the rim but not on the rim, just run up and down a few times should do it.

If you lucky you will only shift the bead in the spot where the mud is and your compressor will be able to seat it agian.

it has stop leaking and is still at good pressure. i dont know if the tires is damage but it sort of dinted in at the bead and not sitting right on the bead in the 1 spot where it leaks. i have never had this happen befor so i dont know what mud in the bead should look like.

i got a car i can borrow tomorow so i will just leave it and after work take it down to the trie shop get it clean out

yes, thats why i have not had a puncture and not lost any air from a bead full of mud in about 10 or so years.

i do have a spare but its only a 30, i run 32s and a 32 wont fit on the carrier. its only there to get me home in an desperate emergency

put a ratchet strap round the middle of the tyre then inflate

You can run a 32 and a 30 on the front axle no worries, just dont do it on the rear. 2WD only.

i did that on my mazda (323) playing on gravel roads.. bit of pebble got into the bead and warped the tyre like that - no ill effects at all, other than a slow leak... got a tyre shop to re-set it and rebalance the wheel and all was sweet =)

thats an easy fix-
Take air out of tyre (ie deflate it), I normaly pull the valve out (they unscrew).
Use bead breaker or similar to break bead. Or do as bogged said get a mate in another 4wd to drive over it (just the edge though).
Clean mud out with what ever you have. Things that work well are car keys, screw driver. But the best way is a wire wheel on a cordless drill (watch fingers).

Then its just a matter of putting air back in tyre.
Since you have no need to break the inner bead. There is no need to piss fart around with ratchet straps or any of that other crap.
Just lay it on the ground. Plug air compressor on. If it is leaking around the bead. Normally putting your foot on the center of the rim is sufficient to get it to seal. If its a narrow tyre, wide rim. You may need to just pull the tyre over till it starts to seat.
It will only need 1psi to seal and start to seat. But may need 40-45psi to seat properly.
Once thats done deflate/inflate to desired pressure.
