I am hoping to have the final draft done by the end of next week. Didn't realise how much work is in making one of these things. I want it ti be as good as I can make it, so I will say a couple of weeks.

I will post it on here when it's done. Because we are making it, doing extra copies will be no problem, so no one will miss out.

To those that have ordered shirts, they should be here next week as well.

ha ha good on ya champ. we both one 3 each, and yea i would expect a new ls1 to beat a 250000k old 304 out of a vn, my motor is dead stock and like 15 years old, just a little bit of gas to bring it back to life, maybe you watched bit to much fast and furious just cause its got gas doesnt mean its 600hp

it was a fun race but at the end of the day only one person came home with the first place trophy,
my new motoris about to be put in which should give him a bit of a hurry up, cant wait to do it again next week

Now now lads.
The racing next year promises to be closer, with runs that WILL sort out who can drive.
Next year we are looking to hold it at Easter again, how did it suit people this year? Is it a good time of year to hold it?
I thought it would be good to do it at that time of year again so that people can travel without taking lots of time off work.

Hey all, I am still going with the DVD. Taking longer than expected. I will let you all know here when it is done, hopefully in the next week or so.

On the topic of NOS, if it doesn't do much, why both with it? I know bugger all about NOS, and petrol motors as you can tell, but am going to have a crash course as I am bolting a 5lt into my 80 Series in the next month or so.

nos is good but its only there when the switch is on, what i was saying is my motor is a 15year old vn junker up against a 2 or 3 year old fully roller ls1, poeple watch fast and furious and now think as soon as anyone has a gas bottle on their car its 600hp,

its the cheapst horsepower you can get, at the moment i have a full roller 355 stroker with a direct port 150hp-400hp nos system going in, so that should give them something to winge about

Hey Kent .. Unless you gunna race yourself as far as I'm aware just about every competition is banning the use of NOS after Jacko's accident in Cliffhanger... Best putting your NOS money towards entries and travel costs...

i used nos in the grudge runs against the sand coloured patrol, after i did my 3 runs, didnt use it in any of my races,
they cant blame the nos for his accident, if the exhaust exited in a safe place it never would have happened, even if the fuel solanoid did stick on it's not the fault of the nos, a injector could stick open on any one. but as loog as the exhaust exits at the back it should be fine, my new motor is getting more gas than the hindenburg

Hey all, looking at starting a comp series in NQ. Thoughts at the moment are to run 3 smaller comps during the year and having the final at Easter as we did this year. For the series events, at this stage I am looking at 1 class to start with. The final at Easter may or may not include a stock class, depending on the number of people that want to race.
We will probably look at starting a club for these events as if all goes to plan, we will be able to get insurance easier and cheaper. All that want to compete will need to be members of the club.

What are your thoughts?

Not as yet, but it will happen. After the Rocky event in a couple of weeks, we will have time to nut out dates and venues for 2010. The Mackay Offroad Challenge is set down for April 2-5 next year, which is Easter again.

Hey all, just an update.
At this stage, I have had 2 people tell me that they might run stock class next year, so at this point, it will not be running unless I get a lot of support for it before xmas.

Things that will change in the rules for next year will be all competitors will need window nets & 10lt of water. I strongely urge all to be equipt with a winch, you will need it.

I don't want discurage anyone from taking part in this event, so to make the playing feild as even as possible, surtain items on vehicles will attract one of penilties. This that will be targeted will be tyre sizes, winches, lockers, just to name a few. This should make it so that even people without all the big comp style mods still have a good chance at winning.

All tracks next year will be timed.

Please be under no miss conseption, next year WILL be tougher than this year was as far as more technical tracks, and more stages.
