80 series steering damper which one

could somebody give me some feedback on steering dampners for an 80 series.Do i go standard aftermarket or return to centre.Also what brand are people using.Thanks for any help.

i have a old man emu on my 80 works fine,
i haven't had a return to center one on any of my 4wd's ,
but looks like a lot of money for a shock with a spring :lol:

I dont run one.

there is alot of info in gen tech not long ago where a guy was asking similar Q's.
i think most people agreed RTC is a waste of $$.

RTC is a watse of money, it just masks problems, if ur castor is right then u wont need one..

Just get a normal heavy duty one mate e.g. Dobinsons, EFS Xtreme, Bilstein etc. If your truck has shimmy or is wandering you have other issues that need addressing.
