Pajero Snorkel

Post by Dalluke »

Hey guys installing a snorkel tomorrow on my NH pajero just want some tips on best ways to cut hole etc. Got a snorkel off a 80 series diesel, angles and stuff seem the same so going to try fit it.. Has anyone done a snorkel without the stickon guide... how do you measure it up etc.

Hey mate, i picked up an 80 series snorkel and it fit perfectly just made a template out of cardboard and marked it all out, cut the hole (the scary bit) and then pushed it in and mounted it. Make sure you double check your template and use some galv paint on the edges of the hole before snorkel goes in.

The snorkel cost me $50.00 i think

I did this a bit back on early dudlux fitting up a GU snorkle.

I purchased some cheap bolts with the corect thread then cut the heads of em and ground them to a point.
Position the snorkle against the vehicle and a gentle tap marks out all your centres for the holes you need to drill.
