rear mounted radiator water pipes

Post by duncan »

Want to mount my rad in the rear of my comp extra cab hilux running a vs v6 motor and rad but have very lttle spaces to run the pipes to the rea.

So how much do you think it will affect flow and cooling by reducing the pipe size from 38mm to 25 between the motor outlets and the inlets on the rad.

I know that presure should rize as presure is related to resistance to flow but would it be to much .Any help would be apprecated

If anything you need to use a larger diameter pipe for greater distances so flow remains adequate, i definately wouldnt be using smaller pipes.
