Diff gears

g'day fellas.

ive got a 4.2 Gu running 35s

want to swap my diff gears to fix up my ratios etc. but the genuine nissan ones a $1500+

has anyone had any experience with these? are they any good?

ive just had bad experiences with ebay shiznit before you know.

4.6s are the best ratio to suit 35s right?

Run 4.3s NOT 4.6s. I have just swapped from 4.6s to 4.3s in my 4.2td GU wagon and it drives far better. More relaxed at 100km/h. doesn't rev as hard and seems more in the torque curve of the motor at that speed.
And the speedo is spot on :cool:

I blew 2 rear gear sets in about 18 months of reasonable driving off road of the cheap gear sets. I ended up with Nissan reart gears.

4.3s should be easy to get hold over as they are out of the ZD30 GUs so plenty of them around
GU 42td wagon for touring
GU ute for the fun stuff
