ive got a 4.2 Gu running 35s
want to swap my diff gears to fix up my ratios etc. but the genuine nissan ones a $1500+
has anyone had any experience with these? are they any good?

Run 4.3s NOT 4.6s. I have just swapped from 4.6s to 4.3s in my 4.2td GU wagon and it drives far better. More relaxed at 100km/h. doesn't rev as hard and seems more in the torque curve of the motor at that speed.Cliff Harrison wrote:sweet, ill take that as a yes. thanx mate

I blew 2 rear gear sets in about 18 months of reasonable driving off road of the cheap gear sets. I ended up with Nissan reart gears.
4.3s should be easy to get hold over as they are out of the ZD30 GUs so plenty of them around
