Just wondering how the hell do you fix the rear pinion in the diff ? any help would be awesome.

Put a new seal in there.. Would be handy to know what its in before better advice can be given..

Its in a 4 wheel drive :lol: could even be a sic 60 series, but that is an ambitious guess.

you need to determine whether it is just the seal or if it is the pinion bearings that have collapsed.

if it is just the seal then you can repair it by simply replacing the seal, but if the bearings have collapsed the diff has to come out to be overhauled.

with the transmission in neutral, does the pinion shaft have any up/down/side to side/in and out movement? it should have none. if it moves, the bearings are toast, and it has to come out.
