40 series diff width

Post by Ridge »

i have done a search on google and found that the 40 series cruisers are 65.6" wide.
i could not find out if this was the measurement from hub to hub,
or from the outside of the wheel arches. Would someone be able to confirm it for me?

Also is the standard tyre a 32x10.5?

cheers

I'm pretty sure standard tyres were 7.50x16. In standard form they used to be pretty rough so most people used to put fatties on to tame the rough. I just measured my 47 series ute for you and got 1415mm (as best I could with the wheels on). This was from the wheel mount to the wheel mount.
