Same motor but use the turbo version out of the VL Commodore ( if you can get a decent one)

vlt is a cheap way to get some extra herbs, especially if you can get a whole motor for under a few grand

If you use the NA, have a good look around, as its been done to death on calais.com

Also, one tip, if your going efi rb30, get the loom out of the nissan skyline, as its a separate unit, and easier to wire in.
Nice gq swb ute chop with a huffer for the good times

As above would be easiest as no box change needed. Or if you want more cubes look at a Ford 6 or 350 chev ect. I'm not a big fan of 5 litres, they lack bottum end torque. Other choise do a box swap and use a tb or td. Commo 3.8's go ok but are not the best for the swap, crank angle sensor is at the bottum of the crank and don't do that well in a commo let alone a dirty patrol.

Go the RB30et out of a VL.

I have one in mine, it has more than enough power :D .

These motors are cheap to get power out of, and there is a wealth of knowlage on calaisturbo.

You will need to get the complete Fuel system from the donor car though, as well as the engine loom, and Computer

That could be cool, a bit of extra torque is just what you want.
This is not legal advice.
