Hi,
I'm running a Rangie Classic, chopped to a ute, comp truck.
GU front and rear diffs, 4" lift King Off-Road Suspension and a Hilux steering damper, 35" tires on 15" rims.
Question: Above 80kph on the road the ute becomes very unstable, body roll is noticeable and the ute moves around the road quite a lot.
Any suggestions? Should I fit a heavy duty RTC steering damper, sway bars or is something else wrong???
I haven't tried doing 80+ off road yet up a dry creek bed, that's next!!
This truck is entered in the 2010 OBC so I've got a few months to get this sorted and then testing, testing, testing

Body roll at speed

Probably a combination of tall springs, soft shocks, lightened body etc. RTC damper wont help with body roll only with steering kickback, check your angles and swivel pre loads if you are getting the wanders up.
Saddle up tonto, its the not so loanrangie! . 98 TDI DISCO lightly modded with more to come.
could be loose wheel bearings,
pan hard bushes,tie rods,
play in steering box.grab some one
and get them to push and pull the front corner.
whilst you have a look underneath for any movement
i would think castor would of been fixed
with diff and spring set up
pays to get wheel alinement done
to check if no luck with above
