hi everyone,
i have a 1997 gq ute with full leaf chassis and i also have a gq mavrick wagon coil cab. there both diesel and are complete with motors right through to diffs etc. now i wanna no if i can swap the leaf body of my ute to the wagon chassis. cost dont matter as i will do it with mates that have good mechanical skills.
so i wanna here from people who have done this

92 maverick ute cab onto a wagon chassis straight swap but got to cut/mod inner guard for shocks i think i cant remember sold it about 2 months ago.

Yeah you have to cut the plate out for the front shocks, also need to change the steering column as the lower shaft is different lengths.

BUGGERED IT'S A TOYOTA THING
You will do it easy in that time frame, just label everything. It makes a huge difference when assembling. For the smaller bolts and screws, get a piece of cardboard and push screw etc through and write what they are.
And less beer at the start makes for faster assembly
