bracing GU rear spring towers
bracing GU rear spring towers
Hey fellas, I did a search but couldn't find what I'm after. Just wondering if anyone has any pics of how they have braced the rear spring towers on their GU coil cabs. I'm going to take the tray off mine to do it but I wouldn't mind seeing how others went about it, designed their braces etc.
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: brace
thats the first time 've ever heard someone say that.misstown wrote:atoc only do them for wagons because they fit inside the spring tower, they dont do them for coil cabs because the chassis are all diferent widths to each other.
anyone want to confirm?
i thought the coil cab was the same chassis as the lwb just with less bodymounts.
Re: brace
Coil ute is totally different chassis to station wagon, you can visually see it also.Yom wrote:thats the first time 've ever heard someone say that.misstown wrote:atoc only do them for wagons because they fit inside the spring tower, they dont do them for coil cabs because the chassis are all diferent widths to each other.

Re: brace
Are you talking GU only or both ?misstown wrote:... coil cabs because the chassis are all diferent widths to each other.
GQ ute and wagon chassis are the same width etc, wagon has body mounts and ute tray mounts and to extra tabs for the fuel tank.
