ive just got a 90 mod dx petrol 80 and i was thinking of what would be a good option for it it has a new 5 speed and heavy duty clutch so what would be a good donk to adapt to that

Don't bother with anything but the LS1 in my opinion. 2J not enough torque, 5L not enough power for the amount of cash you spend

Depnding on a few different options as to exactly what you want, around $10K to $12K plus the engine on top of that. This includes everything to make the car as if it was fitted from factory.
