Broken engine mounts -- Upgrade choices???
i have unbreakable mounts in my shorty, they are steel with a rubber bush and a pin pressed through the middle, they wernt cheap but you will never break one. let me know if your interested and il find out wat model they are and where to get em

Not expensive though. We used a vulcanized leaf spring bushing, ie steel-rubber-steel. These are from a Chevy 1-ton. Cost about $15 each max at any auto store. You do have to build new bracketry for the mounts though.
They vibrate more than a big sandwich of rubber but are 10x stronger.
