Nah, i dont care if she sees it, she will see the damage anyway, might as well get credit for how i did itAngryElmo wrote:
looks like the general idea is if u cant drive it, shut up and let the ones that are willing to have a go do it and give them support
It's all good now. Man love hugs all round
So what happens if Carol sees the footage of you driving stuff that you said you wouldn't???
Will i have to cut a special edition edit of the video just for your missus?
Have you learnt to not leave outers signed in so that she can't see your posts and what you're planning to get up to yet?
A question to the organisers - is the best dressed team points, is that for the dress of the driver's and navi's or is that for the support crew? Because i've got some ideas for dress codes for the day
she is ok, u know ur sister dosent understand all of what is said here anyway, also she uses a different program for the net so all good

EH??!!! she married you though, how smart can she be?AngryElmo wrote:she is pretty smart........
I think you'll be quietly surprised what your car can do now that you have the travel and lift sorted. 3" is a good height, not too high, and you've now got plenty of travel to match the lockers. All you need now is fluffy dice.
Man, we gotta stop hijacking threads

Ahh grasshopper, the only person you are competing against is yourself.AngryElmo wrote:so who is actually going to be running in this? i know me, milo, shane and evl11 are going but just wondering who else in? i know there is more ppl as ive seen them post but yeah, just interested in seeing what i got to run aginst
I'm keen to see a list too, preferably roughly broken down into classes.
How much is it for a two wheel drive vehicle to come and spectate? and how is access for a road car?

Matt who works here at Suspension Stuff reckons his Patrol will beat the Jeep. We will Nav for each other which will be interesting.AngryElmo wrote:so who is actually going to be running in this? i know me, milo, shane and evl11 are going but just wondering who else in? i know there is more ppl as ive seen them post but yeah, just interested in seeing what i got to run aginst
Pootrollin was worried the Grand Cherokee would show him up so he pulled out of the Challenge.

Yea right Shane. Your Jeep is a bit higher than your flex ramp. I need something like that to see how much flex i can get out of the 80 now. I hear Brendan is looking for a new obstacle at Scenic. You should offer him the Jeep after Matt drives over it. Let us know how you go in the Logan challenge.Suspension Stuff wrote:Matt who works here at Suspension Stuff reckons his Patrol will beat the Jeep. The number of cars will change depending on the amount of cars damaged this weekend.
We average around 16-20 cars and hope for around 5 cars in each class. The standard class has 7 confirmed
The modified class has 5 confirmed
The outlaw and highly modified has 5 confirmed with 4 driving if their cars survive this weekends comp.
This is the best field so far as usually we only have 6-7 confirmed before the weekend.
The interesting thing is it's Toyota's, Landy, Suzzi's and a Jeep in the harder 3 classes. Nissans where are you all.
AngyElmo what do you drive?
The best thing everyone needs to remember is this is a challenge in nature. The first and most important rule is all spectators and drivers have fun.
We have a number of challengers who have only just taken up the 4wding sport so I would like to see the more experienced driver talking to them like last months challenge. This is what has made this event a success. I continually have positive comments about the social feel.
I have also been asked by a man and his partner if they can join a group for camping on the Saturday night. He will be competing in the highly mod section. If you don't mind them joining please let me know and yes they are normal people.
I will be marking the tracks tomorrow with my blue car.

NOTHING LIKE A HARD DAY AT THE OFFICE AS THE HAND BREAK SAYS
I have a 80 series cruiser, 3" lift 33" tyres and f&r lockers, but am thinking about disableing my front locker so i can run in the slighly modified class, just dont know if i want to push my car against the highly mod. class, but yeah, yet to make a decision on that yet, depends what class needs more numbers i guessharrisbm

Hope Matt doesn't get used to that drivers seat, He should have no worries though in that navi seat, other than having to be in a jeepSuspension Stuff wrote:Matt who works here at Suspension Stuff reckons his Patrol will beat the Jeep. We will Nav for each other which will be interesting.

I'll think Matt will take it easy on the Jeep. The less he breaks, the less to fix. .
Have a good weekend boys.

They cracked the steering box this morning in the Logan Challenge. Shane phoned us and he was on his way to Brissy to get another on. Worst thing about driving a jeep, not many spare parts at a comp.Tailspin wrote:Hope Matt doesn't get used to that drivers seat, He should have no worries though in that navi seat, other than having to be in a jeepSuspension Stuff wrote:Matt who works here at Suspension Stuff reckons his Patrol will beat the Jeep.
