best size rim for 315/75/16 claws?

Post by scmick »

Hey guys, did a search and couldnt find anything, what size rim do you think is best suited for 315/75/16 claws? 16 x 10 or 16 x 8, they are currently on factory GU rims but scrub on my control arms at full lock, they are on a GQ shorty with 3 inch spring and 2 inch body lift, cheers Mick :D

16x8 N22 - Brings it out to reduce steering lock issue while keeping it under the flare.
16x10 are a good fit aswell but tend to stick out past the flare.

Im running the same size MTZs on 16x8. They have less offset than 16x10s, I had narrower 33s on 16x10s and had scrubbing issues, no scrubbing problem now, and less problems with crap in beads.

As claws are far from being a road tyre, Id focus on whats best for offroad ;)

if all your trying to fix is the scrubbing, then all you need to do is adjust your steering lock stops ;)
