steering question-my own fault
steering question-my own fault
g'day all, ive got a 95 seirra and have a steering issue.
In may i had 2 weeks on fraser island (salt, sand) when i came home i put in a big effort to wash it down as always do, now through working big hours and 2 jobs the poor old gurl has not been used much since(half a dozen times to keep battery charged or to get to something in the shed. About 2 weeks ago i jumped in give it a run and apart from the usual cracks from the spring packs that rust together the steering has gone really tight. and to explain more not sure if it is helpfull its normal for quarter of a turn then really stiff for about a tenth of a turn then normal then stiff. any ideas where i should look first would be great because i dont get much time so a head start would be nice. thanks
