i want to set up a endless air but don't want to get rid of the air con!!!

serious, its all been done before, even with plans for the brackets. your not doing anything ground breaking.
a while back i saw a tb42 gq with two air compressors - 1 for ac & 1 for compressed air.
they were basically side be side with a short belt, pulleys same size.
i am not familiar with the stock layout of a tb42 so i do not know if the positioning of the a/c unit was stock, but they fitted in there.
they were on the passenger side of the engine bay, tho i dont remember if they were top or bottom

Considering the cost (of the unit AND the brackets), the drama of setting up the Endless Air compressor and the fact that it will be difficult to maintain considering its tricky position, why not consider a good quality electric compressor with an on board air system.
To get the full benefit of the Endless Air, you'll have to set up an on board air system anyway. If you have a second battery, you could set up one (or two) electric compressors for a similar result for probably less money and don't have the added complication of an engine driven compressor.
I had a converted Sanden SD508 compressor and switched to a two compressor (Ebay Max Air copies) system with 2 air tanks totalling about 25 litres hooked up to air lockers and an air line.
Just my 2c worth.

Wyliesptarol, http://members.mcs.net.au/~grungle/endlessair.html has pretty much everything you need to know. If you can find a 7 piston Sanden comp, but they're a bit thin on the ground. Self serve wreckers are the gop, they were a common fit for aftermarket AC in the 80's. I found a 508 on a RWD Mazda 323.
Compressor - $38
Compressor brackets - $110 (I got lazy and had it all laser cut, could of easily cut and drilled it myself for way less)
Gaskets for compressor - $15
Grub screw and grease nipple for compressor - free
Braided air line from compressor - $40
Air tank, lines and random fittings - probably ran about $200
You'll need the air tank, lines and fittings if you want a serious set up anyway. What's a decent electric compressor worth? And how slow are they? Bump the throttle up a bit and tyres pump up in no time at all. Granted buying a premade kit is expensive, but they're just converted Sandens anyway.
Difficult to maintain? I filled it with grease when I put it on and give it a squirt every couple of months. Never thrown the belt and it's the same belt as the power steering.

Yes, I have made up a bracket that spaces the power steering pump upwards (still uses the same hose but needs a new belt) and then mounts a VL commodore compressor underneath it.wyliespatrol wrote:Tb42 can I fit another a/c compressor

I haven't fitted it yet, but there's definitely room. However, I think different TB42's have different A/C compressor arrangements.
Basically if I ever get around to bolting it in, it will have, on the passenger side of the engine, and looking from the top down:
Power steering pump
Compressed air compressor
A/C compressor
I think the ps pump and the compressed air compressor will be sharing a belt, from memory and without bothering to go and look.
This is NOT a difficult bracket to make, either.

I also think there an overpriced POS. Cheaper to go thru a bunch of old sandens from the wreckers than buy theres.
