Hey jeep people!
Mates bought himself a JK for a first fourby, and on the maiden voyage smashed a CV. Whats the going rate for a replacement, and how different is it from a patrol/cruiser/lux set up? I've never been under one before and have heard the setup is slightly different to a typical solid axle front.
Cheers for the help guys.

JK wrangler cv's

depends on the size of the cv really.
simple fix, get the main nut off, get brakes off then 3 bolts for the wheel bearing unit and your just about there.
what size tyres is he running?
if it's not a rubicon it will have a d30 diff which actually has pretty small outers so is probably only really capable of doing 33's for rough driving ( read i dont know how to drive properly and gun it around corners) and suitable for 35's for an experienced driver.
easy change and there are upgrades in america that can take bigger tyres and more power.
