Howdy,
My A/C compressor just siezed on my HJ61 Import Sahara and I was wondering what the go is with finding a replacement seeing as the Imports run 24V electrics? Can off-the-shelf comps run off 24V?
Any input appreciated.
Cheers.

would i be better off getting the compressor rebuilt or forking over the $$$ for a new one and changing the coil?flyology wrote:Just get a new compressor to suit, and change the coil from your old compressor to the new one. Pretty easy to do.
trying to get this sorted before summer as i'm going north and did the trip last year without a/c in a daihatsu van.
Cheers
probably get the original one rebuilt if you have a good compressor place over ther. If not, try this place:

they did mine and I was very happy with the price and service.
