Wow... I need to do some more research? Fill me in Bolto... what's the goss on Loose Nuts? Out of contention? Purposeful loss? Comp Car shakedown? All going to enter Lada's?????????

I like your pick on Two and a Bit.... and you are correct about the consistancy being exemplary.... however there's no way in hell I'm going to except that the CQ Offroad trophy can be anywhere but Here!!! No chance of those crazy northerns stealing it off of us!!! And even less chance of those silly mexicans toddling off with in to the inhispidable cold! NO WAY. I refuse to except that anything less than Rocky/yeppoon/gracy domination! Anything less is unacceptable...

That's what I like! A bit of ticker!!!! Someones gotta win... why not DBR!!!

Unfortunately canceling the Mud Bulls ticket is not an option. We have a number of mates we are committed to supporting and they made the decision to head south to where the cash is on offer and so that is the direction we will take.
Not sure how many cowboys will be into our shirts... but you never never know if you don't ever ever go! hmmmmmm is that a song....

Hey Bolto is DBR going to lend you one of their hilux's to compete in? Just surely you don't expect your junk to last the weekend!!!!!! It's a heap of crap Nissan!!!!!! he he he

Maybe we like talking crap?

Maybe I'm just a web wheeler..... no chance of me actually risking my car in a comp... My GU is way too neat.... and my other car... wouldn't even bother!

Also some people like to talk about the upcoming comps and have a chat about the line up. I'm glad you'll be ready... maybe furken might do well again this year? Maybe your tip'n the win? Not everyone takes them selves as serious as the "comp" boys and enjoys a little smack amongst mates.... it's a shame because weither we believe it or not wild 4b'n is all about having fun, talking smack and climbing something you claimed... not who has the fastest winch............ think we need to remember the good times!

DGR sure sound like a threat with some of the "play" toys that their bringing to the game!!!

And now that I think about it.... No smack? from the furken team... is mick and Boswood still in this team? No smack? I don't think so...

guys, I've been trying to filter through all the smack talk and crap to find some better details on location cost etc.

Seeing as cruiser park will be packed and I'm allergic to country music, especially when I have to pay near enough $200 to be subjected to it.
Myself and a few lads are thinking of making the trip up from Brisbane just to check out the northern comps and see a different park.
No competitors, but just need to know what spectator fees and camping fees etc are.

Some good navigation instructions for how to get to the park would make things a bit easier too.

I'll have a shot at guiding ya there, follow the main highway into rocky (gladstone road) follow that until u come to the main intersection, macdonalds should be on the left as u pull up to it, turn right there follow that down and over the bridge onto mustgrave street, goes past 3 shopping centres and then follows onto yamba road, keep following that past the next macdonalds which is on ur right at glenmore, you'll come up to another intersection with heights colledge on ur left and the uni on ur right, kepping going straight u will go up over a hill and come down to another set of lights (the dreamtime on ur left) turn right there onto the yeppoon highway, u'll pass the DPI (department of primary industry) and stay on that road until u reach access number 4, be in the left hand lane as Seonee park is just a couple of seconds pass there. hope my directions are correct as im gunna cop a f**k load of s**t if im wrong haha, not sure on the camping prices either...

Head straight through Rocky like your going further north. Once past CQ uni take right turn to yepoon. Left turn after access 4 into Seonnee Park. Seonnee Park is about 5km out of town.

Comp starts saturday morning and continues all day until finish of night stages at around 10pm. Then GPS run on sunday.

$15 entry per person with under 16 free. Showers and toilets on site with food available as well.

Marshals Needed !!!

As the Comp draws closer day by day and the tracks come together (hopefully quicker than some of the Comp Cars  ) the real nitty gritty of the planning also reaches a crunch point.

CQORC is a strong Club with a very active membership but an Event of this size needs LOTS of Officials to function effectively. Whether you're a seasoned whistle blower or are just starting out I know that we can find a meaningful role for you on the day. We mostly need people for the Morning and Afternoon stages (5 & 5) so there's a good chance that you will get Saturday night off to kick back and enjoy the action under lights !

I know that there are HEAPS of Off Road Comp supporters out there so please consider donating a few hours out of your day to help keep this outstanding local Comp growing. If you can only offer a morning or an afternoon (not the whole day) that's fine too.

Please PM your contact details if you're interested and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Oh ! By the way, as an Official you also get free entry and a good feed for your efforts ...

Cheers,

Vince.

Hi all, heading out to seonee on saturday morning about 8.00am for the working bee . If you want to help and you have not been there you can call me up on channel 30 as you come through the gate and we will direct you down to where we are. For all those who know the park i will be at the silver shed. The more people we have the quicker we will get the work done. If you have a whipper snipper bring it along , you may need gloves too . It will be hot so don,t forget to slip slop slap.
