hi i have a sixty series with a 2H diesel in it and ever since the regulator in the alternator got changed, i have three dash lights that wont go out, it's seriously irritating and was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on wot it could be.
The lights that stay on are the water trap light, Air filter light and the charge light, it's been like this for six months now but ive tested the alternator and it is charging fine can anyone help me? im gettin really pissed off at it

Hey mate my dad had a 2H troopie and he had the same problem and it turned out to be there was another regulator and once that was replaced it was all good. I hope this helps
I would say that the regulator you got is not real good, or not correct. Other thing to check is some regulators have a small fuse in them, check that is not blown.

the regulator i got was a genuine toyota one, i paid bout $97 for it, but i'll check for the fuse, and also where was that other regulator situated in the troopie?

When i did my conversion from external reg to internal. the drive to the auto elecs had those warning lights on but once they rewired it was fine.
I'd check the wiring of the regulator, I know lights etc in later model cruisers are negatively switched which is a bit unnusual. not sure on the 60. If it started at the time the regulator was changed, I would look at it first.
