hey guys i got a 99 GU RD28.i am goin 2 put a GQ TD42 in usin a GU 4.2 gearbox and transfer . i no i got to get

-GU TD42 wiring loom
-GU TD42 gearbox transfer
-GU TD42 drive shafts and pinon flanges
-acc pedel box and cable
can any1 else think of anything else i may need or any problems i may run in to??any input would be great.

Radiator from memory was different, gearbox cross member is also different,

if you use the RD28 gearbox cross member, it will pull the motor back towards the firewall by about 25mm which makes it really close, if not touching,

you need to use the TD42 gearbox cross member to keep the motor off the fire wall,

when it comes to transfer cases, the only difference between them is the flange size, if you use the RD28 transfer your front shaft will need to be shortened by 20-25mm, if you use the TD42 tansfer, you will need the TD42 drive shafts, and pinion flanges,

wats the best way to go about the wiring loom.hack into the 2.8 1 or use a 4.2 1.the guy at the wrecker sed the 4.2 1 wont be plug and play.any suggestions?? cheers guys
