To all those guys offering input thanks for the comments.
To the clowns asking stupid questions about door handles and the likes you do realise that the door is held in place with packing tape and blue tack ?? I don't have enough skill to make the alignment correct is mock up stage, luckily I think I can fumble my way though the welding stuff.

I think it would be a better result to move the rear axle backwards a couple of inches rather than encroaching on the cabin space by making the wheel tub larger towards the front of the vehiclechimpboy wrote:A bit more space at the front of the rear wheel arch?

I wouldnt bother with another door, ALL that extra work, and how many times will you ever use it. If anything just fill that section in. Lookup BJ46 it was a genuine MWB example produced by Toyota
