Cheers For that,
Do you know off hand what RPM I would be doing at 100km/H with 4.625 diff ratio running 35" MTZ tyres. TD 42 With aftermarket MTQ Turbo kit fitted.

I currently am doing 1900RPM at 100Km/H with 35" MTZ.

Was looking to see if I could get RPM up a tad to get max benefit from turbo as boost comes on at or around 2000RPM.

Cheers

You'd probably be doing around 2400-2500RPM@100km/h mate.

I have 4.375s and 35" tyres on my TD42 aftermarket turbo GU and I'm reving 2200RPM@100km/h.

Divide 1900rpm by your present diff ratio, then multiply by the proposed diff ratio.

eg if your present diff ratio is 4.11:1, then 1900 / 4.11 x 4.625 = 2138

Run 4.3 if you are going to use 35's.

4.6s don't make for good long distance driving!!

I have had both in a 4.2td GU wagon. 4.3s are the ones for 35's.
GU 42td wagon for touring
GU ute for the fun stuff
