Nissan patrol swb style side ute comp truck 3.5"costom lift, 2"body lift, 35" maxxis creepy, microtec injection, 24v moded hi mount with all the goodies, thanks Dowie from Lister Motors
You could improve your fuel economy by going to stock suspension and 29" highway terrains, 3.9:1 diffs... That's how my shorty started and it got a good 16l/100km. A bit of lift, bigger tyres, aggressive tread, and 22 (petrol) to 28 (gas) litres per 100km is normal.
In your case going by your sig line I would say your tyres are murdering your fuel economy. One question though, is your speedo calibrated for the 35s or have you compensated for this in working out your fuel economy?
Sorry.

Yes, it can be, because the computer will pump more fuel into the motor, because it thinks its in start up mode, so it in-riches the fuel mixture. Another problem can be, that the viscus fan has been replaced with fan blades, which are more aggressive, and it will cool the motor down to much, and the computer will go into cold settings, and once again, it will push more fuel into the motor.ratbagpatrol wrote:.... bad on fuel it is an injectered model to some body told me that a coolant temp sender might be runing the engine cold
Another problem might be, that your injectors are worn out, and are dribbling fuel, instead of throwing a good spray, and not burning correctly.
If you want to do the basics, have a go at the below,
new fuel filer
New plugs
New air filter
New oil, and filters
new thermostat
and if its efi with a few kays on it, get some new injectors..
just the basics really,,,,
Nice gq swb ute chop with a huffer for the good times
