Hi
Does any one know why the intake manifold on a TB42 is heated doesn't make sence as we use intercooler to cool the air why heat the intake. Can I block the hose that runs back to the thermostat houseing and join the two bottom hoses together or is there a reson for it.

intake heater hoses
These vehicles and engines are exported all over the world , the heating of the throttle body is to prevent ice up or sticking in cold climates . if your not ever going to see those conditions i suspect it would be fine to joint them but don't block them off as it may inhibit flow to other areas and create air pockets
Nup not telling
you'll have to find out yourself
