NP205's are 1.96 from memory.

There is a crawler gearset for them - I think it's called the Lomax kit, but it's super expensive as it pretty much replaces the whole case.

They are also crazy heavy - 86kg.

Are you sure you want a 205?

Can't help with the 1st gear ratio for the auto.

There are a few different autos that go behind the 1-2-3UZFE.
Is the one you want to use an AA80E?
8 speed auto... Probably not this one.

AA80E --
2007 LS460
Gear ratios: 1st - 4.596:1 2nd - 2.724:1 3rd - 1.864:1 4th - 1.464:1 5th - 1.231:1 6th - 1.000:1 7th - 0.824:1 8th - 0.685:1 Rev - 2.176:1

A model number will help heaps. ;)

If it's an A343F auto from a Surf (which is also found in Prado, some Landcruser's, Soarer (1UZ), etc.) then pretty sure the gear ratios are :

1st 2.804
2nd 1.531
3rd 1.000
4th (O/D) 0.753
reverse 2.293

BTW, if you use an AW4 (same as A34#) rear housing from a jeep you can bolt up a D300 ;)
