I need to replace the gearbox in my 75 series troopy, noisy +++. Have found a complete box and transfer case for a fair price but it used to have a vacuum operated hi/lo part fitted to the box and I don't want to buy it if it wont work.
Question I have is can I unbolt the hi/lo lever/linkage off my current transfer case and bolt it to this one in place of the vacuum set up?
Ta Dave

No, you will need to dissassemble the transfer case and change a few parts.
I am doing the same thing at the moment, see this link.
