33s on a nearly stock paj/monty
I have a 1995 montero LS that I have raised up in the front via way of torsion bar crank as far as I could. I was wondering if some 33x10.5s would pose a problem at all. These of course are called pajeros for you Aussies! Seems like they will fit, but I am just curious as to any issues I may have from anyone's prior experiences. Thanks fellas!
i have 3ltr jtop. i put aftermarket springs in the rear, wound the torsion bars up and did a ball joint flip, then i was able to run 33/12.5 on crusier offset rims that stick out quite far. it only scrubed when turing full lock.
33s will fit yours with a minimum of fuss. i think you should just go get the tyres, put them on your vehicle. then you can see what you will need to do. i dont think it will be much if anything.

Yeah, you are probably right! It's just that there are not many paj/mont at all around here and the aftermarket and parts for them are few. Just want to be sure first! Thanks bud!WACKO wrote:i have 3ltr jtop. i put aftermarket springs in the rear, wound the torsion bars up and did a ball joint flip, then i was able to run 33/12.5 on crusier offset rims that stick out quite far. it only scrubed when turing full lock.

I have a 99 NL paj, factory "body lift" bout 45mm from memory .. running 235/85's (a true 32.2 inchs tall) with no scrubbing on stock rear suspension, clears without issue.
