Hi Forum,
I have looked around the 'net and cant find an answer .....
Will a 6GG75 bottom end, with a 6G72 top end match up? and will the 6G75 bolt up to a Gen. 1 Pajero?. The idea is to build more of a smooth reliable torquer and keep the earlier injection to keep things simple in matching the Gen. 1.
Thoughts, dont flame .....
Cheers

Hi There,
Had my NH 3.0l V6 rebuilt, now using 6g75 pistons, stroked the crank as well, now a 3.8l. So yes it is possible. Have to use an aftermarket piggyback CPU though. Dyno tune gave me 140kw, 260Nm @ 4000, ( very flat curve 254 @ 3000 and 240 @ 2000) but the engine is still very tight. Should get more.

Hi, I used the block from the 3.5 Magna with my Pajero heads. Its a tough job but all do-able. You end up with so much bottom end power!.
The crank on the 6G74 is different so you can't just fit that to your block.
If you want to call 08 83496960, I can explain what you need to do as its a long story for a one finger typist.

Someone in the US used a 3.8 Pajero block with the 6G74 (3.5 V6) heads but I can't remember if he used the SOHC or DOHC heads.
Also can't remember if he used the 3.5 injection or the drive by wire 3.8 set up.
The guy is on Trail Talk - Old Colt is his username I think.
