Swapping my transfer

Post by lockdup »

I will be replacing the T/C on my WT sierra this weekend with another identical transfer. Is it straight forward? any particular things i can do or steps to make the process easier?

Cheers

Jump in and have a go. It's a 20 minute job.

Not knowing the condition/year of your car, perhaps a quick spray with some INOX or similar now to loosen the nuts, also don't forget the hand brake/speedo cables and the 4x4 light wire ;) are you sure all the flanges are the same?
Peter.
Cable bracing is the way of the future!

dropping the case with it's mounting brackets will also make it much easier :D

don't forget to remove the boot and gear stick first too.
