Divorce Transfer Case advice
I'm considering what transfer case to use in a 63 jeep with an Izuzu 6BD1 diesel. Its a 5.8l 6cyl around 165hp. As I'm using the Isuzu gearbox I'd prefer a divorced TC or if its easy to divorce a married TC I'd like to know how. An Isuzu TC is around $7000 exchange!
I believe the front diff is Dana 30, pumpkin is drivers side. There's plenty of room behind the gearbox but it's all a bit tight along the drivers side of the GB due to the clutch and oil filter. It would be possible to stay with the drivers side but the passenger side is pretty clear so I'm wondering about finding a TC and diff that runs the driveshaft along the passenger side and upgrade to a stronger front diff at the same time.
Just considering options at the moment and would appreciate any ideas and/or pointers on where I might buy this gear.

I'm sure I already mentioned it, but LT230!!!
They are stronger than any of the above. They come stock in ratios between 1.003:1 to 1.6:1 high.
I recently bought 2. 1 cost $250 (thanks Nottie!!!) and the other $300.
There is a reason comp vehicles use LT230s. How many use nissan t-cases

It is very easy to convert an LT230 to a divorced setup...

If I like the 1.22:1 in my 110 I might have a 1.003 case spare.
You are going to Tufftruck??? If so - have fun!!!

I've looked under a Blitz truck and they have huge TC's. Are these what you have? I have a reasonable amount of space but don't want to over do things. I'm west of Noosa.hillbilliywheelchair wrote: also i have quite a few blitz transfers with different drops their even in the eastern states at the mo

Those who choose to drive in the mud do so because they can't drive the rocks.
