ok, before people start posting negative or positive things about this, i only want to hear from people have have an e-locker or who have had one, in their gq/gu and preferably in the front. (advice will also be taken from people who deal with lockers
i have been talking to a guy (sells both air lockers and e-lockers) and he is recommending me to go the e-locker (i will be buying a locker in the coming weeks).
now...i havent seen much about these, although i know they have been around in the USA for a while.
does anybody on here run one??
if so, have you ever run an air locker on the same end and how do they compare?
are there any issues with the e-locker??
i guess im just looking for reassurance before i lay down my hard earned coin

i have run a hilux e-locker in the front of by lux and a cruiser rear e-locker in the rear of my hilux(running a 9" cruiser rear diff). i previously had air lockers. e-lockers do not require any air. no o-ring to leak.
instead of using an electrical control circuit to operate a valve to turn air on/off to activate the locker, they simply cut out the middle man(air) and activate it ecectronicly. it engages quickly and has worked floorlessly for me.

Reading whats in this link, E lockers can only be engaged while stationary, not on the fly like an air locker. This is possibly a disadvantage, meaning you cant flick it on and off if you need to steer, and could lead to more risk of breaking a CV.
