when i drive my gq patrol, it has a 5inch lift, when i turn left hard i get a werid clunk/ click, its only once doesnt keep clicking or clunking.

ive been under looked around nothing seems loose, any ideas?

could be worn body mounts or cracked floor where it meets the firewall in the front footwells

might be bushes on panhard or main control arms, do you feel the clunk kinda under your feet? Best get a mate to slowly turn the wheel from side to side and look for any movement in the suspension links

Does it do a bit of a boing noise as well. Common for the front coils to move around a little.

Or else the body mounts. The one under your feet you should feel. They move most when wet. Hit it with the hose and go for a drive.

mine does it too, very annoying.

it started when i put in my radius arms to suit the lift, am putting standard ones back in this weekend, so will see if it goes away.

tightening my steering box back to the chassis became a fortnightly thing for me on my 93 GQ. Would make the same noises.
