i built the tray here at home and ill post up a small vid of how it tips when its finished!
after i put it together i was surprised how cheap powder coating is so i got the tray powder coated hammertone grey

looking at the photos, have you cut the rear pillars and brought them forward to the back doors? That's what I'm planning for mine and if it looks that good I better just go get the grinder and stop umming and ahhing about it.
After many hours sitting in the 'chair of contemplation' drinking 'inspiration' I think I can just fill in the tail light holes and it'll finish the wheel arch nicely like yours does. Then just need a window the same size as the rear doors to fill in the hole and a sheet metal wall where the rear doors are. Keeps the rain gutter and everything for the factory look.
I think that's why yours looks so much better than the normal DC chop. Tipper is a cool idea. You got any pics of it getting the chop?
