CT26 Supra turbo on a Landcruiser 80
Moderators: toaddog, Elmo, DUDELUX
it will bolt up to the exhaust manifold and dump pipe.
Hard to tell from the pictures, but I cant see provision for water cooling?
Also not sure on the orientation of the oil feed/drain holes.
Definiitely not a simple bolt in replacement IMO it will need some custom parts
It is not a Toyota Turbo (not sure if you knew)
It looks like a chinese reproduction (I guess you take your chances on quality)
Also Supra turbo's have a lot larger exhaust turbine housing, so it will spool up and boost a bit late in the rev range for a 80series, you would lose a lot of low RPM torque and driveability.
The orientation of the front compressor housing is different from Supra to Landcruiser so it would need to be rotated, also the wastegate actuator may need to be modified.

Garrett GT2860RS seems to get some good reviews on here.....
Ball bearing so spins up a lot faster.....
If you want to "up grade" your standard CT 26, look at rebuilding it and using an supra 7MGTE compressor wheel and housing......
