Your running a huge risk as they will explode if they get too hot.
Let me clarify. Not low enough to get them to bulge. We are not talking 4/12 psi here as thats just stuped. And most certainly not at any decent speed, or say highway use. And not for extended periods of time.
The most that i have seen them is for about 15 klms at 60 or under and about 15psi.
Appreciate your concerns and advise though.

I had to scoot home on mine from Ormeau (about 70km) at 80 - 90 kph on the M1.

They were a very nice shade of blue by the tiem I got home and they have worked brilliantly since. I have always been told to do this to Creepies when you first get them.

Got my set (35x12.5". 16") fitted to the rims today, Bloke reckons that they took the most weight to balance of any tyre he's ever fitted!

Over 300g each tyre, some worse than others. There is a hell of a lot of lead on em! but them seem well balanced so far, i may get a re-balance (while hot) after they've worn in a bit.

I tested them around the block, getting up to about 80kmh max. They were surprisingly quiet, although i suspect the noise will get worse. They felt quite good on road actually. Yet to test off-road, but im hangin!!

Pic below is my 105. Has a 2" lift (a little sagged). Modified offset GXL wheels, from 0mm offset to 18mm offset. I am yet to ramp it up to see where it rubs, to adjust bumpstops, trim guards etc.
You can see the amount of lead on the rims, there is more lead on the inner side of the rim!

I went to get my 37's balanced and the first tyre asked for 850g. Didi't worry to much, just did a static balance and there fine once there warmed up

i ran 37x14.5x15 on my GU for a long time.
first you have to run them at low pressure on road to get them hot or they just suck ... after that they are fine.
when racing i ran them at 20psi otherwise i kept denting the inside of the rim and really found no difference to running them at 16 in grip while racing.
debeaded the inside a few times on 9x15 mech beadlocks when i bent the rim but once you straightened up the tyre sat up and it was fine until the next corner ...never damaged a tyre, just bash the rim straight, pump up and you were ready for the next race :armsup:
toughest tyre i've ever tried :armsup:

on road i use the 4PSI rule to set pressure IE:
.Set pressure when cold
.Run for an hour at whatever load and speed you normally run at on highway
.Check pressure, less than 4PSI pressure rise from cold is too high, more than 4PSI pressure rise from cold is too low.

each car is different so you have to set the pressure to suit your own particular vehicle .. even if your mate has the same vehicle, the weights could be different

tyres always wore evenly on my vehicles using that rule

i run 35 x12.50 x 15's great tyre, i didn't really run mine for 12 + months while getting work done on the car and on return they were hard and crap, ran them on the high at 12ish psi for 30mins and since have 'softened' up again to their former glory, amazing. difference you can feel the difference massively by hand.

they crown big time when new but mine are now 70% or so worn and don't crown anywhere like they used to, they drive all round alot better with a little age, opposite to most tyres

never popped a bead/had a flat/ripped-staked a tyre run them at around 8psi offroad on 8" rims and about 22psi on road my 90 weighs around the 2.1-2.2t mark.

Tis an old thread now but i just layed my dirty hands on a new set of 35's & wondering what you fella's run as on road psi ...

i will start at 30 & use the 4psi rule from there to see what happens...

Big Lux pm sent..

So i intend to try them out over easter 30 min run at 15-20psi to soften them up alittle with some heat & then 30psi hot temp on road using the 4 psi rule from there..

Will report back on performance for those interested after some easter punishment at 10 - 15 psi..

I used to run 20 - 25 psi on road in my 38" creepies on an 80 series.

i run a set of 37s 1250 15s on my truck and love them, i run them at 25psi on the road and drop the pressure to 10psi in the front and 8 in the rear and they work really well with no bead locks, they arent great in the mud, but for every thing else they work great, as for highway speeds i do 110klms and hour on them all the time, and the balancing issue i just have them balanced at the local tyre shop, when i first got them they had to be flipped on the rims etc just to sort the balancing out,

i would buy another set next time round

What pressure does everyone recommend for mud? My 35s on un-beadlocked 8 inch wide rims.

In the dry I started off running 8 rear and 10 psi front but was getting crap stuck in the front tyre beads which was causing slow leaks. I have since increased the pressures to 10 and 12 and this has stopped the slow leaks.

Sounds right Sim..

Been running mine at 8-10 not had anything stuck in the beads...
They are awesome i have not had a single issue & they are near as good as lockers i rekon


If its not going to be a serious track i often only go down to 15 and they have heaps of grip so i would try 15 in the slop only go below 10 on the rocks IMO...

Hi all

Running 37" x 12.5" x 15" on a 8" rim.

I only run mine off road, only time they see on road is getting to the trails.

My thoughts, best hard surface (rock, concrete, logs) tyre i have ever owned, Good in mud but in the real sticky stuff need a bit of HP/wheelspeed to clear the blocks. I run internals (going away from these soon) but when they havn't been operational (blown tubes) i've been happily running less than ten pound. Usually i need 8psi or less (on a full size cruiser) to get them to bag. I've found that regardless of beadlocks inflated or not though that i'm getting a lot of crap in the bead which leads to leaks. I'm sure that this is probably going to happen with any tyre but the lower pressure these require make it a bit more likely.

Will crown badly if run on road at road going pressures.

Will be going to mechanical beadlocks soon so i'll learn how they go at even lower pressures soon

Sweet I might as well get 37s next since they are only little bigger than my 35s. I run my creepys at 20psi for road duties this keeps the tread close to flat.

a couple of questions about creepys
Ive heard they measure under size, could someone that has a set of 15X35's give me a measurement (excluding the crowned center)
and how do you find them in real mud (vic slop)
I can see them being great on all terrains except maybe mud
