Just curious about fuel pressure and removing lines from an EFI'd truck...
Im kinda new to this whole modifying EFI world thing have always dealt with Diesel or Caburettors...
Have a 99' Lux with the 3RZ-FE 2.7 Petrol and am relocating the fuel tank so need to remove fuel lines and extend...
Just wondering what the go is with pressure etc?? Can you just pull them off? or is there a process you need to go through?
Cheers Rob

All depends were the fuel pump is mounted, from my knowledge hiluxs never had a pump in the tank so the only pressure you will have at the tank will be gravity and what ever fuel is left in the tank.

pump
remove 12 volt power to pump or batt so fire is limited cut fuel lines
fuel will come out return is better first less pressure but both can be just cut under pressure,. good quality hose clamps should be used like ones that are used on a holden efi 304 vn to vt on the back of the fuel rail
they are 316 s/s with bolt and nut and inner to protect pipe. all so you
can add a crox to the pipe to increase pressure with out blow out
