im making a high pinion center. iv herd how to do it but i just wont to make sure the imformation is right. so corect me if im rong is it tru that u keep the pinion and crown wheel out of tha front then put the lsd or locker of tha rear in it

i ment wen u set a high pinion up 4 tha rear do u leave tha front pinion and front crown weel in it . sorry if i aint making sence i may just have to ring some one up

I've just done mine.

Yes you retain the front housing, crown wheel and pinion and fit the rear LSD centre into it.

Mine needed some minor machining but certainly worth it.

Yeah, that's right, front housing + pinion and crownwheel, rear hemisphere (locker or LSD). They are the same on the outside, but the spline count is 31 front to 33 rear (for a normal H233).

The crownwheel might need to be machined down a bit to fit on the slight chamfer of the rear LSD.

Don't forget to lift your filler plug around 2-3" too !!! You will have to run around 5 litres of oil now, instead of 2.1 litres before because the pinion is higher up the oil level needs to be lifted accordingly.

Good luck, it's not that hard to do.
