Damaged 80 swapping with 100 panels, possible??

Post by DA1NONLY »

Hi

Anyone know if you can put a 100 series front end on a 80 series as in will the front guards and bonnet bolt up, I am pretty sure they would but was wonderring if anyone else has some ideas also the other one is if the doors from a 100 series fit onto a 80, front and rear i know the little buble thingo for the rear wheel arch will not fit up to the 80 but i have a dual cab 80 so i would modify the small bit behind the door to fit that. So generaly would front and rear doors front guards and bonnet from a 100 fit a 80 series???

Any help would be much appreciated

Oh the reason is I rolled my 80 did some damage down the side and can pick up a cheap 100 so working out if its cheaper to fix 80 or replace it with the 100 panels

Cheers

You can put an 80 series body on a 100 series chassis, so why not?

But seriously 80 bodies aren't so hard to find you'd have to consider using 100 series parts. I seriously doubt anything will just bolt up and fit.
The worst part about being told you have Alzheimer's, is that it doesn't just happen once.
