Re: shocks
and you said your mate had a hell of alot longer than 4'' shocks on he's 60 correct?
well the guy at pro comp said they dont do longer than 4's for toyota vehicles(hilux and 60).i think it is you who doesnt know what hes on about.my mate has been working at pedders for 4 yrs and he rang pro comp and thats what they told him[/quote]
Do you think you have to run hilux shocks in a hilux and 60 shocks in a 60,
I have 80 series shocks in my 60 switched from front to rear.
My mates 60 did have Pro-comp shocks and they extended longer than standard 60 shocks+4 inch.
Off that topic, when your looking for shocks for your hilux, ask them whats the longest shocks they make...not whats the longest shock for a hilux.
You running custom mounts arent you?

Re: shocks
he's not using 9" slackels anymore. He's done a coil conversion so he can run dobinsons coils, purely for the colouratari4x4 wrote:tried extending the bumpstops & was that with or without the 9" teal slackels?hi_luxmad wrote:i had 6'' over standard and bottomed them out
