Does it have a light in it? that could be causing the warmth.
if your unsure, take it and get it checked... Fried squik wouldnt be as nice as the sushi version.
Are you running the switch to a relay that powers the compressor or just power to switch to comp?
Power to switch to comp would explain the heat..... Imminent failure.
Bogged... yeah it lights up when the headlights are on or compressor is on... Want33s... runs via a relay.
Installed it myself following the instructions to the letter, only thing I didn't do was hook up lockers. Worth placing another fuse directly on the wire to the plug as a precaution?
DRS smells like a cat-food milkshake... and wet socks... and gorgonzola cheese... all whizzed up in a blender
Easily sorted - turn the lights off - if it's still hot after a while you may have a problem, part of the reason I love LED lights so much!
Mind you I have a couple of 10Watt LED modules and they get very hot if no heart sink is stuck to the back of the module, thinking of buying a 100Watt version except the voltage it needs is quite high!

Not if he/she is just driving and therefore the compressor is not running. My light does heat up a good bit too but has never caused an issue and there is no burning markings on the switch anywhere so obviously it can handle the heat it is generating.
