M&M Custom Engineering make high steer arms, tie rods and drag links. They are available through Sam Keck at Overkill Engineering, in Sydney AU.

Snake Racing (also in Sydney) have a high steer knuckle.

If you want to be cheap though, you can use a Mercedes Benz arm. I have one but I have forgotten the model which they come from.

Here is a pic of our full suzuki hi steer kit, it moves the entire steering above the spring pack.

Arms are machined from billet. The draglink and tie rods are 4140.

Cost for this kit is $1170

Here is a picture of our suzuki half hi steer kit. It moves the draglink above the spring pack and leaves the original suzuki tie rod below the spring pack.

As with the full kit the arm is machined from billet and the draglink is 4140.

Cost for this kit is $610

Snake racing make a knuckle to suit SOA conversion not High Steer.

So what you only run High steer on the pasenger side? They only make the knuckle to suit that side.

High steer is usually when the Drag link is monted above the Axle line not still in the stock location. The Snake Racing set up leaves the Drag link in the stock position.

Read this thread you have replied to so many times. Guts even said it isfor a SOA conversion. http://www.outerlimits4x4.com/PHP_Modul ... hp?t=14632

It is not a high steer knuckle you even worked that out in this thread as well.

AFIK "high steer" locates the whole lot above the centre line of the axle draglink and tie rod ..
The cast knuckle is for crossover steering .. (I think :silly: )

yeh every1 calls it different as u can see by m&m post

when i brought my highsteer it said on the recipt high steer an only my draglink is over

AFIK?? as far as i know?

so i think the knuckle that snake makes is a high steer knuckle as it moves the draglink over

i cant be farked arguing over it any more but it is an option for simonwalker to concider (where as ruff ruled it out alltogether sayin its not highsteer its for a soa conversion)

IMHO, high steer is any solution to reduce the drag link angle. it's all the same in my book. different knuckle, different arms, etc...

although lifting the tie rod is very advantageous, the main objective should be moving the drag link. anything is better than a z drag link.

do you have a thing against the snake knuckle RUFF?

High steer:
Moving the Tie rod AND drag link above the axle centre line, normally for an offroad purpose.

Crossover Steer:
Moving the drag link connecting point above the axle centre line, leaving the tie rod below the axle centre line.
hands and mums dont count!!!
