GQ/GU rear control arm bushes - any good for the front axle?

Hi

Is anyone using the GQ/GU rear control arm bushes the front suspension of a 4wd? (In particular I guess a linked front axle, like a panhard 5 link such as the Jeep front end)

Are they suitable for the task or is there some reason they are only suited to the rear end?

yeah i just bought a gq that has a 3 link plus panhard front end with hein joints on the links chassis end and gq rear trailing arm bushes on the diff end (except the panhard)

Well the Patrol trailing arm bushes have heaps of flex and are tough.

Just ensure you leave them loose after fitting and only torque up bolts with the load on vehicle.

thats what superior engineering use for the bottom bush on there flex arm and they work really well

ive set up a very capable rock crawler with these bushes... they allow plenty of control at up to 60kph (fastest we took the car)
