Post by dazgq1 »

Hey there , i installed my gu rear diff with 4.6 centre today and the bloody flanges are different :bad-words: will they swap over easily enough ? if so can i just "witness" mark the locknut and shaft as i dont have a torque wrench to measure the (break loose torque) as stated in the manual THANKS IN ADVANCE ;)
cheers

great news thanks mate .What about the backlash and no torque wrench problem ? will witness marks be ok (alignment markings) and just do back up till it all lines up precisely ??

they are a shim type preload setup so you can basically do em up as tight as you like and it wont affect it at all.
if you have a rattle gun just use speed 1 or 2 not full noise and you wont have a drama
