know it's a long shot, but thought i'd try....

i've gotta get my zook (88 WT) thru rego by the 22nd, hoping to get it done this sat, but if necessary, i'll take it off the road for a week or two...

to fit the 31s, i needed to cut the bar that holds the factory bumper on (bit of tube that connects the chassis rails that has a plate on the end for the bumper to screw into...). to get it thru rego i need to attach some kind of bar to the front....

does anyone have a bar that i could borrow to get thru rego? would need to bolt on to the chassis rails or something....

you'd have my eternal gratitude and there'd be a case in it if u want

cheers,

steve

i've got a stock bumper... it only attached to the bits i cut off at the end of that tube thing (what do ya call it??)... we're looking into options of making some kind of bracket to hold it in place, but i dunno how well that'll work.

is the stock bar different? how does it attach?

Nearly everyone who has any kind of oversized tires on theirs has cut that bar off. If you did it neat enough, no one would bother you, i'm sure. I had mine cut, then engineered, but he didn't put it in the report, and he wasn't concerned. I needed it off when i put on the ARB winch bar.

I wouldn't worry too much unless they tell you you have to do something about it....

My 2cents
My tires were rubbing in the front, so I trimmed the hood, and now they're fine...

wasn't worried 'bout the cuts, we did that nice and put fence caps onto the ends. it was the legality of running without the licence plate and blinkers properly attached.

is all good now, got it thru rego

thanks for the offer again cam!
