well to start with I was pretty sure you fuel rain connector is different to those - I think you have hoses that go directly to the top of each injector on your rangie where as these are more like the hotwire/3.9L injector rail connector.

Give us the part number of those bosch injectors and I will check the flow rate. Off the top of my head I thought the 5.0L Holden V8 injectors
only flowed 150cc/min vs 167 or so cc/min for the 3.9/3.5 rangie

At least that is what my research has showed. I didn't want my engine running any leaner on fuel than it already was. There are some good listings on the web with injector rates and details so give me the info and I will look it up

Holden injectors and hotwire 3.5-3.9 onward injectors have an o ring at the top and bottom and slot into a socket in the rail while flapper 3.5 injectors have a pipe at the top . Rangee had to buy a 3.9 rail before he could upgrade injectors to Holden 5 litre. He recently fitted a Thor manifold and rail and had to back off the fuel pressure to get the car to start with 4 litre injectors which are rated at 22.5 LB but at 3.5 Bar
The Holden 5 litre injectors are smaller at 18.5 lbs per hour than 3.9 injectors at 22.5Lb per hour. I bought Bosch 4 hole replacements from USA for about $80 each.
So you need a 3.9 rail. If going 4.6 , I think 3.9 injectors would be better than Holden. But you could get over it by increasing fuel pressure, if you are running an afternmarket ECU.
I can sell you a good set of 3.9 injectors, 6 with 110,000KM and cleaned within 10,000K and two new as 2 died in cleaning. I fitted a Thor manifold and fitted Bosch "pink" 4 holes at the same time.
I also have a 4.0 litre rail and Bosch "green" 4 hole injectors . I do not know whether the 4.0 l rail will fit a 3.5 manifold. I think so as a 3.9 rail will "just" fit a Thor manifold, but there are issues with fitting a fuel pressure reg etc.

The green Thor injectors are shorter by about 10MM, and the rail is correspondingly further apart than the 3.9 rail. On reflection the 4.0 rail does fit the 3.9 manifold, but you would need to use an aftermarket regulator.
Email me on parmbruster@optusnet .com.au and we can discuss price and I can email you photos.

I have been running a set of VR V6 commodore injectors in my early 3.5 disco for about 3 years now without issue. They just slotted straight in. Got them cheap off ebay. Would have gone the mustang ones but I was being cheap!!
